Andrea Wallace – School Counselor (7th Grade Last Names A-L/All 8th Grade) - 970-613-7402
This is my second year working as a school counselor and I love being part of the Turner Dragon community! Previously, I worked as a mentor, tutor, middle school paraprofessional in PSD, and the director of a primary school in Tanzania. My B.A. degree is in History from the University of Michigan and my M.A. degree is in Counseling & Career Development – with a school counseling specialization – from Colorado State University. I’m originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and now live in Fort Collins with my husband. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, listening to live music, and being active/outside – running, hiking, swimming, skiing, camping, and doing yoga.
Keefer Lanham – School Counselor (All 6th Grade/7th Grade Last Names M-Z) - 970-613-7417
Hello Turner Dragons! My name is Keefer Lanham, and you can just call me Keefer. I am new to Turner Middle School, however I have been a counselor for many years. I’ve worked with students at both middle and high school levels. Previously, I worked at Summitstone Health Partners as a group therapist for teens and adolescents. I’ve also worked construction and other jobs in England, a server in restaurants and resorts, as a trainer in gyms, and sales/service training in the corporate world. I’ve lived all over, but I grew up in Tucson - which is why I love Colorado! I received my Bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University in English and my Masters degree from University of Colorado Denver in Counseling. I love hiking and fishing, and about a thousand other hobbies, and I fidget like a 5 yr. old who guzzles coffee and energy drinks competitively. I look forward to working with you!
Nicole Pritchard – Mental Health Specialist -
My name is Nicole Pritchard and It is my pleasure to be working with all of you as your new Mental Health/SEL Specialist. I wanted to share a bit about myself. I was born and raised in Wyoming and earned both my BA in Secondary Education and MS in Counseling through the University of Wyoming. I have worked for fifteen years in Education, seven of which as a School Counselor. Psychology and Education are my true passions. I have now lived in Colorado for four years and I love it! On the personal side, I am married ten years now with two beautiful boys, ages 5 and 7. We live in Windsor and enjoy getting outside biking, swimming, golfing, paddle boarding and playing pickleball. I am a big sports fan as well, especially NFL and NHL, and was a former athlete myself. In my spare time, spending time with my family, playing cards and games, exercising, studying genealogy, and catching a favorite Netflix show are my downtime pastimes. Career and family are most important to me and striving for that work/life balance is important. I want to thank you in advance for welcoming me as a new staff member to your school. Please say hello and also let me know how I can help! I look forward to meeting you all.
Brianna Meehan – School Psychologist - 970-613-7418
Hello Turner Middle School! My name is Brianna (but you all can call me Bri :) ) Meehan and I am so excited to be your school psychologist this school year. I am very passionate about advocating for mental health and equal learning opportunity for all students, which is why I chose this field as my career profession. I firmly believe that there is no such thing as a “bad kid/student” and think that every child, regardless of whatever they are experiencing or going through at the moment, is a valuable and unique individual. I got both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Education Specialist’s degree in School Psychology from Gonzaga University - so I am a huge fan of the zags especially when it comes to college basketball season (GO ZAGS!!). I came to Colorado during my internship year in my graduate school days and have since called this place, home. My personal therapy and self-care usually involves shredding some pow on my snowboard during the weekends. I also love mountain biking, running, 70’s and 80’s classic rock, and I also love to play video games - I enjoy having conversations with some of the students about anything related to Pokemon, Zelda, etc. I also have a pet snake named Bowie at home who is a very gentle “noodle.” Come by my office and say hi to me! I am looking forward to working with the Turner Middle School students, parents, staff, and community. Go Dragons!!!
